Required DocumentsThe candidates should enclose the following duly attested photo copies (not original) alongwith application.
Mark sheet / Grade card of qualifying examination (Xth Standard).
(i) School / College (Last attended) Leaving Certificate or bonafide certificate of college where the applicant has already taken admission.
(ii) In respect of candidate from out of Maharashtra State (Other State- O.S. candidates),if it is not possible to produce college leaving certificates he/she shall have to produce migration certificate of last attended school / college.
(iii) If such candidate is admitted then he/she shall have to produce school / college leaving certificate within period of THREE monthsfailing which his/her provisional admission shall be liable for cancellation.
(iv) In case of candidate appearing 10th examination externally, if it is not possible to produce school / college leaving certificate he /she shall have to produce certificate of last standard attended.
(i) 7/12 extract / Khasara (Village form of Record of Rights) for the year 2010-2011
or 2011-2012 issued by the Talathi / Patwari showing that the agricultural land is in his/her name or in the name of parents/grand parents.
(ii) In case parents are not alive, the 7/12 extract should be in the name of his/her brother/paternal uncle and the candidate should attach an affidavit on stamp paper of Rs.20/- (Twenty only) of the agricultural land holder stating that the applicant has legitimate share in the agricultural land.
(iii) In case the extract is not in Marathi/Hindi or English, a true translation duly attested by the Gazetted Officer working in the same State should be attached .
(iv) In case of the mother of an applicant who submits an affidavit of her father on stamp paper of Rs.20/- (Twenty only) stating that ancestral land exist in her name and attaches a copy of duly attested 7/12 extract thereof, the weightage of 12 points will also be admissible.
(v) The applicants are advised to keep sufficient photo copies of 7/12 extract with them at the time of admission.
(vi) The applicant is instructed to file an affidavit in case his / her surname appearing on mark sheet and certificate of 10th std. is different than its mention on 7/12 extract.
Landless Agricultural Labourer certificate issued by the Tahasildar stating that the principal means of livelihood of the parent is manual labour on agricultural land. (This certificate should not be in the name of applicant.) ‘Agriculturist’ (AG) category will not be given to Landless Agricultural Labourer. Proforma of this certificate is at Appendix of the Prospectus.
(i) Certificate of Agriculturist for the year 2010-11 or 2011-12 issued by the Tahasildar or Naib Tahasildar showing that the applicant or his/her parents or grand parents (paternal) is/are owner or tenant, hold agricultural land and whose main source of income is derived from personal cultivation of land. Proforma of this certificate is at Appendix of the Prospectus.
(ii) In the case of Fisherman, a certificate from the concerned Tahasildar stating that the source of income is from fishing only.
Caste certificate in the prescribed format issued by the Competent Authority designated for the purpose in the State.
Non-creamy layer certificate issued on or after 1st April,2011 or valid upto date of submission of application formby the Competent Authority for candidates seeking admission under DT(a), NT(b), NT(c), NT(d), OBC and SBC categories.
Certificate of ‘Project Displaced Person’ issued by the District Resettlement Officer of Govt. of Maharashtra in the prescribed form that his/her parents’/grand parents’ land has been acquired by the Government for Agricultural University/Irrigation/Power/ Defence Project in the name of candidate/parent. The name of thebeneficiary must have been included in the Project Displaced Persons certificateissued by the competent authority.
N.C.C. ‘B’ or ‘C’ / Air / Naval /Army wing certificate issued by the Commandant.
(i) Certificate of games/sports issued by the District Sports Officer that the applicant has represented the College at XI and / or XII Std. in Inter-collegiate, State, National, International level tournaments.
(ii) Certificate signed jointly by the District Sports Officer and District Collector and issued on behalf of the 'School Game Federation of India' (SGFI) in case of students of Navodaya Vidyalaya.
(iii) Certificate issued by the association of sports will not be considered.
(iv) Certificate of debate/essay/ elocution competition of state level competition issued by the concerned Organization.
1. A certificate of the Freedom Fighter of the applicant’s parents issued under the signature of the Chief Minister. A son/daughter of the son/daughter of Freedom Fighter can avail of the benefit, provided the applicant attaches an affidavit of grand father/grand mother on the following points on a stamp paper of Rs.100/- (One Hundred only).
(1) The applicant is son/daughter of the son/daughter of the Freedom Fighter.
(2) The Freedom Fighter has not used this concession for any relative here before.
(3) The Freedom Fighter shall not use the concession for any relative hereafter, if the benefit is availed at this time.
In case of any difficulty, existing Govt. Resolutions should be referred to settle the grievance.
1. N.S.S. certificate issued by the competent authority in respect of Jr. college for admission.
2. Defence Personnel certificate from Zilla Sainik Board/discharge certificate from Officer Commanding the Regiment or serviceman certificate from the competent authority.
3. No-objection certificate from the employer in case of inservice candidates.
4. If applicant’s parent is an employee of State Agricultural University / MCAER including retired, deceased employee, attach employer’s certificate issued by Controlling Officer/Head of the office.
5. Migrant/Displaced students from Jammu and Kashmir State should submit certificate from the competent authority as mentioned in Govt. Resolution No. AGU-2095/23106/CR-181/19-A, dated: 5-9-1996, a copy of which is available at Appendix. Mere Affidavit regarding displacement will not be entertained.
6. Candidate’s or his/her parent’s Domicile certificate and/or Birth Certificate issued by the competent authority for Maharashtra and other state students too.
7. The candidates applying for admission under physically handicapped category should submit the certificate about being handicapped issued by the Competent Authority (District Civil Surgeon or equivalent Govt. hospital/ Medical board) designated in this behalf.
8. Economical Backward Class (EBC) Certificate issued on or after
1st January,2012 by the Concern Tahasildar. (This provision only for the students admitted through centralise admission process in non grant colleges.)
Application form completed in all respects and received on or before the last date of receipt of the application shall only be considered for admission.
The candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribes are required to produce caste validity certificate issued by competent authority as required by G.R. of Tribal Development Dept. No.stc-1000/CR-261/D-10, dt.1/11/2000, a copy of which is available at Appendix.
1. Applications shall be rejected on any one or more of the following deficiencies.
1. If the attested photo copy of Domicile Certificate issued by the competent authority is not enclosed.
2. If the printed copy of the filled in applicationis not signed by the candidate.
3. If a recent a passport size photographof the candidate is not affixed on the printed copy of the filled in application.
4. If the duly attested photo copy of the mark sheet / grade cardof the qualifying examination is not submitted / attached.
5. If the duly attested photo copy of the school / college (last attended) leaving certificateis not attached. (If the candidate has secured admission for degree elsewhere, bonafide certificate of that institute will be accepted. However, the candidate should submit the original leaving certificate after securing admission within a period of three month.)
6. If ‘No objection certificate’ from the employeris not enclosed by the inservice candidate.
